Help Bill Johnson in His Fight Against Cancer
Donation protected
At the end of April, Bill received a CT scan because he was experiencing back pain. After being referred to UT Southwestern, he was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer with metastasis to the liver on May 7. He was scheduled to start aggressive chemo on May 19, but he was unable to start due to high bilirubin levels. The doctors thought it would be possible to put a drain in to help, but his liver is unable to handle the stress of the procedure. If his numbers do not elevate, he will start chemo this Thursday.
Bill is loved by everyone he meets. He coached basketball, football and track for 35 years and taught school for 44 years. That's a lot of lives who have been touched by Coach Johnson! He is committed to fighting for his life. He loves his family so much and wants to be there for his wife, daughters and grandkids. As you can imagine, medical bills can be high. During this time of COVID-19, so many of us feel helpless since we can't be around each other physically, so please donate if you can and help alleviate some of the financial burden for the family. Thank you so much in advance! We will not give up!
Love,
Kendra Pike (his niece) and his entire family
