Help Bill Glasser who lost his home in the Topanga Fire

Dear friends, neighbors, and kind-hearted Topangans,

We're here to ask your support for an old time Topangan Bill Glasser, who has faced an unimaginable loss. During the recent wildfire, his home of 42 years on lower Colina, perched high above the creek behind the Topanga Lumber Yard, was destroyed. His was the only home in his immediate neighborhood to burn. While Bill is pursuing recovery assistance through available programs, the process is lengthy and far from certain, there are immediate needs that require urgent attention. Unfortunately insurance will only be covering the bare minimum and not enough to make ends meet.

Bill is a private and independent senior who rarely asks for help, but has always been quick to help out others in his many decades here in the canyon. This time, the challenges are too great to face alone. That’s why we're reaching out on his behalf, asking our community to come together and support him during this difficult time.

Our goal is to raise $23,000 to address critical needs while Bill navigates the long road to recovery. Every kind word and every contribution big or small will make a significant difference. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this campaign with others who may want to help is equally valuable.
