Hi everyone,
I’m creating this fundraiser for a truly incredible man named Bill—a devoted husband, a loving father of four (three boys -ages 6, 8 and 10 , one girl- she's 4), and one of the hardest-working, most selfless people I’ve ever known.
Bill has been diagnosed with a rare form of throat cancer, but because of where he lives, he is about a hour and a half from the nearest hospital or specialist, making regular doctor visits and treatment even more challenging. His condition has progressed to the point where working full-time no longer seems like an option and even part time seems like a stretch most weeks, sometimes just his normal everyday tasks have become incredibly difficult.
Eating can be especially painful—sometimes even something as simple as a smoothie can be excruciating for him to get down. Despite this, Bill continues to push himself as much as he can, because that’s the kind of man he is.
Along with his regular job, Bill also runs and maintains his land, which he has always poured his heart into. Unfortunately, between his health, harsh winter weather, and snow where they live, he hasn’t been able to fulfill as many orders as he normally would. Missing work and reduced farm income have caused bills to pile up rapidly.
Between his mortgage and farming equipment alone, expenses total roughly $4,000 per month—not including medical costs, travel for appointments, or daily living expenses. As you can imagine, the financial pressure has become overwhelming.
Bill has always been the person who is willing to show up for others in need. Now, as medical bills grow and overdue expenses stack up, he’s under immense stress trying to figure out how to provide for his family while also fighting for his health. Like many devoted parents, he worries constantly about failing his duties as a husband and father—even though none of this is his fault.
He is truly one of the kindest, most generous, and hard-working person I have ever met. He deserves the chance to focus on healing without the constant fear of losing his home, his land, or the life he’s worked so hard to build for his family.
Any donation—no matter the size—will go directly toward:
Mortgage and essential household bills
Keeping his farm running during this difficult time
Medical visits and cancer treatments
If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing. Every share, prayer, and kind thought truly means more than words can express.
Thank you for taking the time to read Bill’s story and for supporting a wonderful family.
