Help Bill & Ronnie keep their home

Hello! Our names are Ronnie and Bill and we are partners of 21 years who have fallen on very hard times. In 2015, Ronnie suffered a catastrophic illness called cardio myopathy of the heart, which almost claimed his life. As a result,  blood clots went to both legs and he had to have bilateral amputation of both legs below the knees. Although he is on the road to recovery, he still has impaired heart function and  has daily pain and psychological difficulty.  He has been unable to work and must rely on others to go anywhere as he cannot drive.  To make matters more difficult, he doesn't qualify for disability. 

I lost my job in 2016, and since then care for Ronnie, and  have only been able to find part time work. The only way we have been able to survive over the past two years as we are trying to get back on our feet, has been through exhausting our savings, and by the financial support we have received from our families and a few friends. 

Unfortunately, all avenues for assistance have been exhausted, and our families can no longer afford to help us.  We are asking for help  to stay in our home,  avoid foreclosure, and not be literally out on the street.   

We need approximately $15,000 to be able to stay in our home. Thus that is our fundrasing goal.

We appreciate anything you are willing to give to help us at this very difficult time in our lives.  Asking for help like this is very humbling and is a last resort for us. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for any help you are able to give.
