Bigotes is my baby, and he means everything to me. Last night, someone decided that it was a good idea to light up fireworks and, he was so frightened that he tried to find a safe place to hide. In his panic, he crawled into the engine compartment of a car. By the time I found him, he had suffered serious burns on his belly and legs. I immediately rushed him to the emergency vet, but it was a terrifying experience for both of us. The emergency team started him on pain medication and began treating his burns right away. The burns are extensive, and he will need ongoing care to prevent infection and help his skin heal.

I am heartbroken seeing him in pain, but I am doing everything I can to help him recover. The cost of his emergency care, medications, and follow-up treatments is overwhelming and I can’t do it alone. Your support will go directly toward Bigotes’ medical bills and recovery. Even a small donation or sharing our story would mean so much to us. Thank you for caring about Bigotes and helping us through this difficult time.

this invoice does not include the treatment that will follow on his wounds for the next 10 days. The vet said the estimate is around $40-$50 per day.
