Hi my name is Alexia Martinez. I am a veterinary technician who has recently taken over care of a handsome 3 month old pittie named Biggie. Biggie presented to our hospital on Thursday 4/14 and tested positive for Parvo virus. Due to finances owner was opting to euthanize but I am a sucker for pitties and wanted to give him a chance to fight. We have completed three days of outpatient daily hospitalization with him coming home and me and my family continuing his care. Today he is showing response to more aggressive treatment, and I am inclined to continue hospitalization with more extensive care to continue to give him the chance to fight. I am so grateful for the support we have been shown already, and anything helps.
