Meet Big Mac,
Right now, you can help him.
Big Mac is an adorable 9 year old grey-tabby mix rescue that I, and many others have had the pleasure of knowing and he has personally helped me overcome a small fear around house cats simply by being his wonderful grumpy looking but kind self.
This summer in June, we had taken Big Mac to the vet after noticing some changes in his behavior, only to learn that he is suffering from tooth resorption and periodontal disease and will have to have teeth removed. In early August we finally were greenlit for his dental surgery. Thankfully the process went smoothly, but the final bill the dental surgeon gave us was much higher than the original range, significantly more than the original amount due to the amount of teeth being removed and time taken more than anticipated. Unfortunately, we cannot reasonably afford this, and strained finances to their limit by taking on a lot of debt to make these payments on the day of.
That is why I am asking for your help. It's only as a community we can come together and make sure we can safely afford a surgery like this.
We deeply care about Big Mac and want him not to be in any pain. His surgery not only became increasingly important for his health, but his quality of life. Any pet owner can understand any price is worth their found family's wellbeing.
All funding will go to the surgery costs for Big Mac, and ensure he gets to live a happy and long life. Any donations will be appreciated - and I will be grateful for any help - and will post updates as they come up.
