This is Big Mac, you might know him, either from his twitter account (https://x.com/BiggestMacCat) or through his appearances in streams or videos. He's brought a smile to not just my face and those around me but to people all around the world, hopefully even you. Right now, he needs your help.

He's a 7 year old grey tabby mix I adopted during COVID times who has more or less kept me going through even the worst of times. I've had him through multiple different homes, different partners, and through it all he's always been a loving ray of sunshine, even if he may always have a grumpy look on his face. Despite his rough appearances and many warnings I got when adopting him about how aggressive he is, Big Mac has been nothing but a sweetheart to those around him and myself, he loves meeting new people and basking in the attention of each and every guest that ever meets him.

I'm making this fundraiser because he recently begin to not eat, move, or bound around in his normal playful way anymore. He began to lay around and not move for long periods and had very shallow breathing when I first noticed this issue starting on 8/30/2024. He also stopped eating or drinking water entirely making him much more weak than normal. We took him to the vet and it seems like this little bundle of joy may have some problems that he's been dealing with some some time now, ones that are just now starting to weigh on him. We don't know the exact issue yet but the vets believe it may just be an infection he's fighting and currently struggling with. The problem is the cost of the appointment, diagnosis, and medical bills all amount to a lot more than expected. Roughly $1,400 to be exact, and that is likely only going to be the start at the current rate while we figure out what's wrong. Anything beyond the initial cost will exclusively be spent on future checkups and appointments in the near future as well as anything Big Mac needs for a healthy life. 100% of all the funds will be spent on him, I can promise you that.

This is a call for help. I don't have anywhere else to go and while this sum of money might not seem like a lot to some people I cannot pay it alone. By supporting this you are helping to give Big Mac the treatment he needs for long term living, so he can continue to make people smile and be a part of our lives. The current goal is the amount we know we already have to pay, we're still hoping he gets better. If not though we will need additional funding, of course I will always provide a bill for any update.
