Help Big Bertha Get Life-Saving Surgery
Four months ago, I adopted Big Bertha, a tiny 13-year-old Yorkie, from a home that could no longer care for her. She had never been to a vet, and when I brought her in, we learned she was facing several serious health challenges.
The most urgent one is pyometra, a dangerous and painful uterine infection that requires emergency surgery. Without it, Bertha won’t survive. She also has cancer, but the good news is it hasn’t spread — which means if we can get her through this surgery, she can still enjoy more happy days with us.
Bertha may be small, but she has a huge heart. In the short time she’s been where, she’s brought endless joy, love, and laughter. She deserves the chance to keep fighting, and I want to give her that.
The surgery and follow-up care will cost around $2,800. I am doing everything I can, but I can’t cover the full expense on our own.
I am asking for help from friends, family, and fellow animal lovers to give Bertha more time. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to saving her life. Even sharing this page makes a big difference.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting Bertha’s fight. ❤️
