A few months ago, many of you helped save Big Bertha's life.

After adopting Bertha, we discovered she had a life-threatening uterine infection that required emergency surgery. Your generosity made that possible, and because of you, she got a second chance.

Yesterday, Big Bertha underwent another major surgery—this time to remove multiple cancerous masses.

The surgery went well, and now we are waiting for the pathology results while focusing on helping her heal. I'm incredibly grateful that she's home recovering, but this latest surgery has brought another round of significant veterinary expenses.

Since adopting Bertha, I've been committed to giving her the care she never had before. Every decision has been about giving this sweet little dog the chance to enjoy the happy, healthy life she deserves.
