Hiya, my names Biff! I’m raising money for life-changing gender affirming top surgery.

the current waiting times to access gender care through the NHS are disheartening, as it stands people who are having their first appointment with the GIC were referred 5-6 years ago. And this is just for the first appointment, it’s often another couple years after this that you can then be referred for top surgery. Not to mention the current threat to the NHS from the Tory party!

The though of how and when I could get this affirming top surgery through the NHS is so overwhelming, anxiety inducing and heartbreaking, not just for me but also my trans siblings.

I believe strongly in mutual aid, especially in this current social and economical climate, so I would like to ask for your help in reaching my goal.

I’m looking at getting my surgery done in Poland, this will mean it’s much more accessible in terms of price and I get the bonus of going to a country I’ve never been to before!

I’ll be using the funds to cover the cost of the surgery, flights, accommodation and a bit extra to help me survive the time off work. All of this adds up to just over half the cost of getting top surgery done in the UK!
