Help Bicolanos Recover from Typhoon #KristinePH
Donation protected
Hello everyone, kumusta po kamo? I’m Mitchel Lustre, born and raised in Bicol, where I experienced the power of typhoons many times growing up. Today, I want to share the story of Bicolanos facing what may be one of the most prolonged and destructive floods we have ever seen. Typhoon Kristine has brought unprecedented flooding to our beloved Bicol region, especially in Naga City and Camarines Sur, and left countless families in dire need of our help. We’re calling on each one of you – every Filipino, Bicolano, and our friends worldwide – to join us in uplifting Bicol once again through this wake-up call to action and the opportunity to help the families, communities and the tireless relief groups and organizations who’ve reach out to me directly for support.
As Bicolanos, typhoons have been part of our lives, and we’ve grown up knowing the resilience of our people. However, this time feels different. With Typhoon Kristine, the devastation reached new levels. Roads have turned into rivers, homes are submerged, and families are trapped with nowhere to go. The typhoon’s prolonged impact has left even the most prepared feeling helpless.
This isn’t just a reminder of nature’s power but a wake-up call to help our fellow Filipinos in the face of a humanitarian crisis.
Your donations will help support and augment the projects of 'Angat Buhay Foundation', Ateneo de Naga HS NubenTABANG, and NGOs helping the indigent calamity victims, especially the Indigenous peoples of the Rinconada/Partido far-flung areas. Rest assured, testimonial videos and documentation of the recipients will be posted regularly on the Bicol Relief Alliance’s Facebook Page—feel free to follow.
