Dear Reader,
I’m reaching out to ask help for my niece, Kim Trang’s family. Kim Trang was diagnosed with Stage 4 HLH secondary to NK t-cell lymphoma, a rare and life-threatening type of blood cancer on July 2019. Kim Trang is a beautiful 14 years old girl, born in Vietnam and came to the US when she was 4 years old with her father, leaving her mother behind due to bureaucrat paperwork. Kim Trang will require intensive treatment that is expected to last for the next 3 years of her of life.
Her mother, Bich Ngoc Le, lives in Vietnam and has tried repeatedly to enter the US to be alongside her daughter. She applied for a humanitarian hardship visa and was denied. She applied again for Visa to the US under a tourist visa. She got approved for this visa, but only for 3 weeks( Bich Ngoc is now in US), and with condition to go back to Vietnam immediately afterwards on 11/21/19. Bich Ngoc intends to apply for a 6 months visa immediately for her next visit, but she is currently unemployed in Vietnam. Having already gone through the visa process several times on her own savings, she has exhausted all of her funds for expenses to travel to visit her ill daughter and can no long afford to do so on her own.
I’m reaching out on Bich Le Ngoc behalf asking for any generosity or assistance for her traveling expenses to come to the US to be with her daughter during this difficult and emotional time. She gave life to Kim Trang and it’s a very possibility that Kim Trang may very soon be taken away from her. This GoFundMe is to help Bich Ngoc afford airline expenses as well as a roof to stay under while she tends to Kim Trang. Bich Ngoc has been a been able find a graciously affordable place to stay in East San Jose while she takes care of her daughter, but will need money to cover rent for the duration of her 6 month visa.
