Help Bianca Malott Keep Her Pilates Studio and Dream Alive
Hello! My name is Bianca Malott. A year ago, I left California to pursue my dream of opening a Pilates studio in Florida. As a dedicated Pilates and Yoga instructor with many years of experience, and a single mom, I wanted to grow both professionally and financially to provide a better future for my daughter and myself.
To make this dream a reality, I educated myself on acquiring credit under 0% interest and secured a long-term loan. Despite these achievements, the journey has been filled with unforeseen challenges. Upon moving to Florida, I faced unexpected setbacks that drained my resources.
Firstly, the school I enrolled my daughter in provided only 3 hours of care daily. With the tuition already paid and my daughter amidst significant life changes, I couldn't bear to put her through another transition. Secondly, the Pilates equipment I ordered, expected to arrive in July 2023, was delayed and only arrived in January 2024.
With limited time to work due to childcare responsibilities and minimal income from teaching just one online session daily, I exhausted my savings and credit to support us. On January 16th, I signed the lease for my studio, facing the substantial upfront costs of first month’s rent, a security deposit, and last month’s rent, plus the expense of necessary construction to make the space suitable for a Pilates studio.
Despite these hurdles, I officially opened my studio on February 16th, 2024. However, as the studio is still growing, I find myself deeply in debt and on the brink of not surviving as a small business owner. My efforts to grow the business include investing in digital ads and marketing, but the financial strain remains overwhelming.
I offer top-quality service based on my 14 years of experience and extensive knowledge as a Pilates instructor and holistic wellness coach. Balancing motherhood, business operations, and marketing efforts is challenging, and I know many can relate to this struggle.
Creating this crowdfunding page was a difficult decision, especially given the many emergency causes out there in need of support. However, I believe in the power of community support. I rarely ask for help, but by reaching out to 10,000 people, and if each donates just $10.00, it could make a tremendous difference and transform the trajectory of my life without being a burden on anyone. I have supported many causes throughout my lifetime, and now, I am the one reaching out for the generosity of others.
In gratitude, I will donate 10% of the funds raised to the Global Empowerment Mission, a non-profit organization providing aid to people worldwide affected by global disasters such as wars, hurricanes, and emergencies.
The funds will be used to pay off the debt incurred from my business investment and cover recurring business expenses for the next four months. With your support, I can focus on growing my business and serving the community, rather than merely surviving.
I envision a future where my business not only thrives but also generates employment opportunities, creates educational courses, and continues to transform people's bodies and minds.
Unfortunately, I currently do not qualify for additional credit cards or loans, making crowdfunding my last resort. Thankfully, my daughter's father has recently moved to Florida to help care for her, allowing me more time to focus on my business.
This humble request is made with the hope of creating a ripple effect where we support each other in times of need. My goal is to achieve financial independence, continue healing people's bodies through Pilates, and pass on the kindness and support I receive.
