Help Bianca Fight Her Pituitary Brain Tumor

Hello everyone, my name is Bianca Butler, and I was recently diagnosed with a pituitary Prolactinoma Adenoma brain tumor. I am a 26-year-old single mother who is currently employed. This year, I lost my health insurance, but am fighting to get it back.

A prolactinoma is a type of tumor that develops in the pituitary gland at the base of your brain behind your eyes. Right now, mine is 4mm in size, about the size of an earring. This may not sound like much, but with the foreign object in my brain, it is pushing my pituitary gland to the left. We believe my prolactinoma is non-cancerous but aren’t 100% sure because no local doctors specialize in this field and are unable to make a conclusive analysis with the MRI technology.

I am currently working with an endocrinologist and am on medication to try to shrink it, but am having complications from the medication. Due to losing my health insurance, I’m having to pay out of pocket for this which adds financial stress.

Additionally, I would like to go to Mayo Clinic to get a second opinion and more answers as they have a whole department and trained specialists to handle this exact type of brain tumor.

I am needing 5k minimum. This is required by the Mayo Clinic to get into my first appointment. They will review my current records and call for more testing. Anything not used will go back to me and be saved to go towards any and all medical bills or operations I may face in the future. considering I have no insurance currently.

I recently found out but I have been dealing with symptoms for several years now. I have been experiencing being severely tired, and being a single mom, that does not fit in the budget. Not only with being tired I experience headaches, nausea , dizziness, mood swings, hot flashes, and hirsutism. All things that affect my day to day functioning and ability to work and provide for my daughter. The medicine itself isn’t alleviating any symptoms, so having exhausted all options within my ability, I am asking for anyone who is able to help me get the treatment I need.
