Help BHS Knowledge Bowl to National Championship

Knowledge Bowl (KB) is a competitive academic trivia league across Colorado with more than 140 teams statewide. Boulder High's team is new to the trivia scene, having only turned 4 this year. Boulder's Knowledge Bowl team is entirely student run and receives no funding from the school. Since its founding, our club has grown from a small community of about 5, to having more than 14 members, and during this span has matured to elite status in the state.
Four years ago we weren't even on the map. Our team didn't make top sixty in state and couldn't even imagine what it would be like to be on top.
This year, we have won statewide tournaments (NAQT State Championship) in record fashion and dominated the competitive Denver league (Won Colorado KB Region 6 Championship). While many teams who have in the past performed comparably to us have paid coaches and the full monetary backing of their schools, we have reached the same, if not higher heights with student leadership and parent volunteer work.
Having Won the Colorado National Academic Quiz Tournament (NAQT) State Championship, our team has qualified for the National Championship which will take place in Atlanta on May 24-26.
The money donated will contribute to airfare, room, board and the registration fee for the 5-person team from Boulder that has qualified.
Looking at our aspirations, perseverance and our performance this season, there is no reason why we shouldn't be among the nation's best teams at the High School National Championship this May, but we are faced with a lack of funds. The ability to go to this tournament would put icing on the record-breaking season we have had, represent Boulder High well, and lay the foundation for the future of this club we care about so much.
