Help Bhodi Beat Cancer: Urgent Surgery Needed

Hi everyone,

My name is Melanie Webster, and I’m writing this with a heavy heart to ask for your help. This is Bhodi — he’s only 5 years old, and I’ve had him since he was a puppy. Bhodi is my whole heart, my constant companion, and truly my soul dog.

Bhodi has always struggled with severe allergies. He can’t have any meat protein because it triggers ear infections, so he’s on a prescription diet, allergy medications, and special shampoo to keep him healthy. I’m keeping up with those costs but this is a huge, devastating expense. I love this boy so much, he’s been the one thing I can count on in this crazy world.

On May 24th, my worst fear came true: Bhodi was diagnosed with cancer. He has two small tumors that need to be removed as soon as possible. My vet, who has cared for Bhodi for over four years, is amazing. They’ve given me an estimate for the surgery: just under $5000 (see photo). Sadly, they can’t accept payment plans, and the bill must be paid in full at the time of the surgery. They only accept credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, or Care Credit — no cash or checks.

I work 6–7 days a week just to make ends meet, but like so many people right now, I’m struggling financially. I’ve created this fund to ask for any assistance you can offer to help me cover Bhodi’s surgery. He’s so young — I want him to have a chance to live his life, to grow old and happy, and not suffer from cancer.

Bhodi means everything to me. I can’t imagine my life without him. He’s my anchor, the one thing that keeps me sane through life’s ups and downs. If you have animals, you know exactly what I mean.
