My brother, Broderick Steven Gibson, compassionately known as "Stevie or BG," was a beloved son, father, brother, and dear friend to many. Stevie was tragically taken from us on January 14, 2022, in College Park, GA. He will be forever remembered for his kindness, love, genuine care, and concern for those he loved. His infectious laugh will never be forgotten.

 

My brother was a go-getter that knew no limits, and he worked hard in his lifetime to achieve his definition of success, which was to love, support and care for his family. Stevie has always said that Azyias, his only son, is his greatest accomplishment, and his love for him was overwhelming. He was a proud father, and he enjoyed spending time with Azyias. Likewise, he loved our mother and me, his baby sister, tremendously. We have an unbreakable bond that is beautiful and will never be forgotten.

 

Stevie loved to explore and travel the world as often as possible. He appreciated spontaneity and new adventures. Bravery was always one of his strong suits, and he was never afraid to try new things.

 

It is horrible and unfortunate that his life was taken from him tragically. We are raising funds to give him a proper heavenly ascension. Although Stevie is absent with us in body, he is fully present with the Lord in spirit.
