Bexley Senior Party 2022
Sunday, May 29th
9:00 pm – 12:30 am
Jeffrey Mansion
The Bexley Senior Party, held the night of graduation, is a 50+-year-old tradition that we are excited to carry on for the Class of 2022! With your help, we will create a memorable event that celebrates our fabulous seniors and gives them a fun-filled finale to their Bexley High School experience.
Tradition also holds that the responsibility for this graduation party's planning, execution, and expense rests entirely with the senior parents. With this in mind, we are hopeful that all senior parents will contribute what they can to make this a special night for all of our kids.
While the theme must remain a secret at this time, the committee is well underway with magical plans. Based on updated pricing and last year’s costs, expenses are expected to be around $10,000. This includes:
- Entertainment – DJ, dance floor, games, photo booth, event lighting, etc.
- Decorations – large-scale wall and ceiling scapes, selfie backdrops, traditional party decor, etc.
- Invitations – special invitations hand-delivered to each senior
- Food and drinks – an unhealthy smorgasbord of fast food, pizza, cookies, candy, and sodas
- Party Favors – everyone leaves with a couple of small tokens of remembrance (think thermal cups, sunglasses, etc.)
- Security, insurance, space rental, cleaning fees, and other less fun items
We ask each family to consider a donation of $70 or more to offset these expenses. We also welcome in-kind donations (especially for the raffle prizes!), and we will be asking for volunteer support as we move closer to the event. Whatever way you can help contribute to the success of this event is appreciated.
In addition to this GoFundMe page, we welcome cash donations via Venmo @bhsgradparty2022
Lastly, if we reach our goal of $10,000 by April 1st, we anticipate all seniors will attend for free or for just a minimal cost.
Thank you so much for helping us create a safe, fun, and memorable night for our seniors!
PS - For in-kind donations, please contact Paige Bilotta at [email redacted] or Dana Viglietta at [email redacted]. If you wish to help with any of our event committees, please contact Shannon Diffley at [email redacted]. For volunteering for event set up and at the event itself, a SignUp Genius site will be created and distributed once we nail down specific volunteer jobs and shifts.
