Hello my dear friends!

You know me, I'm the peoples handyman - I took my car in for a standard oil change and asked them to check the brake pads because they had started to make some noises and felt a little funny - come to find that the pads are no longer operating in the way that they used to and while I am driving they are rubbing against the rotors.

TLDR; if I drive on the highway my brakes could stop working due to the heat and friction.

I start a new job in DC in the next couple of weeks. I also operate a semi-professional handyman business and my car directly impacts my monthly income. While I can use the train for one of my DC job locations, the other is in Virginia and would take 2.5 hours by publics transport 1-way.

If I have done free or greatly reduced labor for you or someone you know, please consider donating! Pride month is over but I am broke and trans all year around.

If I can pay more in down payments my monthly payments will be greatly reduced - the max down payment I can do according to the financier is $4,600

The total cost of my potential new car is $8000 + registration and new insurance.
