Rebecca (Bex) is one of my best friends and one of the bright lights in this dark world. Bex recently fell and broke her hip.  This would be a difficult and painful recovery for anyone.  But Bex already was dealing with a hereditary neurological disease that required her to use a scooter before her injury.  As  a result of her fall she has to now get a motorized wheelchair for the rest of her life.  She has used all her paid leave up in recovery, and so now has no paycheck, in addition to her extensive medical bills that exceed her insurance coverage as a result of her special needs.  She may never be able to live alone again.

Bex always strove to give as much as she could to all those around her.  By helping her, you will help restore some of the light that the world has lost as a result of her injury.  

The funds raised will help cover the costs of getting her the specialized wheelchair she needs, her extensive medical bills, and her bills and living expenses to help her get a handicap accessible place to live when she is released from the hospital.    

These bills and needs are all coming up before the end of this month (April),  so any help you can give, as soon as you can give it is very much appreciated.  Truly, any amount that you can afford will help.
