Hi, I'm bex. I've been the primary income for my household for most of my career. I've spent over 20 years in tech and tech-related fields. But I lost my job in January 2025 and, well, the job market has been what it has been. I'm trying everything I can to find a job, but I haven't had luck yet. I ran out of UI benefits a couple months ago and my wife and I have exhausted all our potential resources. I've tried to pay things forward for a while, but it's my turn to ask for help. My wife is working, and keeps us covered with health insurance, but it's not enough to pay our bills.

I qualify for UI benefits again in January, but we need to make it to the end of the year first. I've set the goal for this to cover two months of the mortgage plus a large bill we need to pay by the end of the year. Any help is appreciated.
