Help Bevis Overcome His Latest Medical Crisis
Donation protected
This handsome guy is Bevis. I work with Stumptown Strays, a local medical dog rescue, and Bevis came into our care during the fall, immobile with 2 broken left legs (his humerus and femur), likely hit by a car. Bevis came to live with me as my family’s foster dog for 5 months while he underwent multiple surgeries to repair his broken legs. After a grueling recovery period, he found his new mom at the local doggy daycare where she worked. It was truly love at first sight!
Now Bevis is needing help again… He is currently at the Emergency Veterinary Clinic of Tualatin where he is awaiting emergency surgery to remove a foreign body, something he shouldn’t have eaten. His family has been given an estimate of $4,500-$5,500 to see him through the surgery and hospital care. Needless to say, I love Bevis and he was like one of my own while he was with my family. His family needs help to get him through this unexpected crisis and I want to do everything in my power to help. But like before, Bevis needs the help of the community as a whole. I can’t express how magical, sweet and loving this young boy is, he truly has a zest for life. He’s just a bit over a year old and this guy needs a chance to grow old with his family.
It was kismet that brought Bevis together with his new family. He was up for adoption for months before fate led him to Aiden and Coop. Bevis is their world and they have only scratched the surface of their lives together. So please, if you have any spare funds to help save him (again!) Bevis, and his whole team of cheerleaders who have been rooting for him from the beginning, would be forever grateful.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
