Help Beverly & Julie Fix Their Toxic Home

Donation protected

Hello, my name is Beverly (86 yo). The photo is my daughter, Julie (66 yo). Julie lives with me in California. We live in a single-wide mobile home about 40 years old.

Julie needs open heart surgery (CABG). I am beginning a course of chemotherapy.

Our home is toxic due to mold and leaking carbon monoxide as the propane water heater is in her bedroom closet and not up to code and leaks CO2. And there is mold which she is extremely allergic to.

The dilemma is: We can't afford to have the water heater replaced and pay to correct the mold situation.

We are expecting her surgery to be performed within a month or so. We will, hopefully, be able to put her in a rehab for her recovery; but when she is able to come home, she will be sleeping, once again, in her toxic bedroom.

With my advancing cancer, I'm not sure that I'll be able to care for her.

I am asking for donations to help us raise funds to move the water heater to outside the MH (tried for a grant; was unsuccessful). And then have a mold professional remove the mold.

So, there you have it. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
