Ms. Beverly is hardworking and beloved member of our maintenance team and has been for over 26 years. She is a staple in our community and a well-known and well-loved face in the communities she works. Always willing and eager to help anyone, it's Beverly that now needs some help.
After a long bout of respiratory issues throughout the spring, just as she was getting back into fighting shape, Ms. Beverly was diagnosed with cancer. As the shock and fear of the diagnosis started to recede into acceptance, a new concern took over. How will Ms. Beverly survive these next few months out of work while she recovers from her next surgery? Ms. Beverly has worked harder than most her entire life, but like so many of us lives paycheck to paycheck. An independent woman taking on the world alone, she is far too humble to ever ask for assistance, but we will on her behalf. Her prognosis remains positive, but she will be out of work for a minimum of 6 to 8 weeks while she recovers from her second procedure to remove the cancer. A good prognosis is the most amazing news we could have received, please help us make sure that she doesn't suffer simply due to limited resources during this time.
We are only asking for enough to cover her medical bills and additional necessities such as rent, utilities, food, and medication while she heals from her surgery. She would be at work the day after the surgery given the option, and she is already focused on returning to work as soon as she is able. Anything you can give we are so grateful for. Please share this post, that's a help as well. If you would prefer to donate a meal, groceries, or anything besides a financial contribution to this fundraiser please let us know so we can set that up.
Again, this is a woman who has never asked for anything. In this her greatest time of need she STILL hasn't. However, the need is there. Help us keep Beverly healthy and stable until she can come back to work with us. Her second surgery is in barely two weeks, her need is immediate. Thank you so very much for your time, assistance, and prayers.
