Hello Everyone,

My name is Shannon, and I am reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your urgent support for my incredible mom Beverley.

Recently my mom was involved in a terrifying accident, when a truck tragically hit her while riding her bike in Squamish.

As a result, she has sustained multiple fractures to her knee, shoulder, clavicle and her head ; suffering from a concussion. She will be unable to walk for awhile, significantly complicating her already challenging life as a senior with disabilities.

This accident comes at a particularly

difficult time. Just a few months ago, she was starting to rebuild her life finally securing a place of her own.

After a devastating fire a few years ago that left her with nothing. She had finally secured a place to call home, yet she still lacks basic furniture and necessities. Now, with her injuries, she is unable to work at all and provide for herself, and the emotional and financial strain is overwhelming.

As her only child my mom is my world and I'm doing everything I can to support her through this devastating time. However the financial burden is overwhelming to think about and to see her in such pain facing significant challenges is absolutely heartbreaking.

We are asking for your support during this trying time. Your generous contributions will help cover the cost of specialized equipment she'll need, rehabilitation expenses, supportive care and other necessities as she navigates her recovery.
