My brother has type one diabetes and he ended up in the hospital that night due to elevated stress levels, which skyrocketed his blood sugar. Both of their cars have been damaged and we lost countless memories from when we lived in England. Pictures of my grandfather that had passed away. It seems almost everything is not salvageable due to water damage, smoke damage, or fire damage. My mother has been dealt hand after hand of bad things and she deserves the world and to be happy and safe, and so does my brother. There are so many what ifs, but I'm just thankful that everybody got out safely, including all the pets. No one should ever have to go through this.
