Hello, my name is Betzy Pardo. On June 19th, 2025, I received a call from my husband, Angel Ulloa, letting me know that he was being detained by ICE during a raid outside a Home Depot in Los Angeles, California. My world came crumbling down. I had no choice but to act fast and take on the responsibilities he has been doing as the provider of our family.
It has been the hardest time of our lives. I've had to take extra shifts and put in overtime just to make ends meet, even having to use our savings to cover our daily bills and his attorney's fees. I'm at the point where I am here asking friends and family or anyone who sees this for a helping hand. Any donations to help bring Angel back home to his family would be greatly appreciated. Angel is a responsible and loving man who, unfortunately, showed up to work and got detained for meeting a criteria: looking and being Hispanic and also for having his construction clothes on. My husband is not a criminal; he has no criminal record. He is a father who urges to come home to his 3-year-old daughter to help raise her, who also misses him and asks about him every day. Any type of donation helps, and if you can't donate, please help me by sharing my husband's story. Thank you in advance.
