Our beloved mom, Betty-lou, has recently been diagnosed with ovarian cancer that also has spread to her stomach. This news has turned our world upside down, but we are determined to support her every step of the way as she bravely faces this challenge.

Anyone who knows Betty-lou knows she is a caring, compassionate, strong and nurturing person who always puts others first. She has always been there for us no matter what is going on for her, and now it's our turn to be there for her.

Betty-lou had fallen ill in Vancouver doing the very thing she loved which was caring for her family. She is currently undergoing treatment in BC and this has led to her and her husband Rob having to rent out an apartment while she undergoes treatment.

She has already begun chemotherapy and faces a long and challenging road ahead. The financial burden of cancer treatment, including medication, treatment, rental costs and basic well-being support are quickly adding up for her and her husband Rob. Although there are resources and supports that they can apply to, it will take a significant amount of time for them to navigate and therefore we are raising funds to help in the interim to alleviate financial stress.

We are reaching out to our friends and family for support to help Betty-lou so she can focus on her health and healing journey. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference.
