Help Betty Recover from a Hit-and-Run Accident

Meet Betty. I have known Betty for a little over 3 years now. She stepped into my world when I was seriously needing help at my home caring for an aging mother that lived with me. At the time, I had no idea what her presence would mean to myself and our home.
She has truly become a friend and part of our family, offering her emotional support and care to both myself and my mother. She is retired, but not really. She still lives a full, busy life caring for her grandchildren and others. The good Lord brought her to me in an amazing way. (Being a strong believer in prayer, she has prayed for us without ceasing!) She committed to help us out. And through the last 3 years, she has ALWAYS had other part-time work to supplement her income and make ends meet.
On Wednesday, March 19th, Betty was driving home from her retail job. It was nighttime, and she was hit by a young girl that LEFT THE SCENE of the crash. Injuries sustained, after airbags deployed, had her going in an ambulance to the Emergency Dept. and on to the OPERATING ROOM to repair her badly broken hip. She moved to a rehab facility 9 days later. This is where financial support would be helpful. She is unable to work. She REALLY wants to get well and get back to her routine. She lives alone. But, rent, monthly bills, etc. are coming in NOW!
