Help foster mum Betty rebuild her life

Donation protected

Betty was a foster mum who fostered children who had physical disabilities, behaviour issues, trauma and abusive family’s. She fostered for over 15 years and loved over 100 children as her own. She became my foster mum when I was 11 years old and after I aged out of the foster system at 18 allowed me to stay with her. She truely to thisday loves me like a mum. She is the kindest most pure hearted person I have ever met.

Bettys put her own health and safety on the back burner and put all money she had into her foster children. At 65 years old she could no longer foster and decided it was time to work towards her own dreams. Her whole life, her biggest goal was to own her own home and 2 months ago, after building and saving for over 5 years she finally achieved that dream and finished building a container home. She spent every dollar she had on this home.

Yesterday, fire ripped through her land and destroyed her home, all her worldly possessions and sadly 4 pets in under an hour. What’s pictured is all she has left. Her son lives close so she has a place to stay but being 72 years old she deserves a home of her own before she is too old to enjoy it.

I would love to be able to raise enough money to build her a container home, flat pack home or something similar. Something like what is linked would be more then enough.

Please help in whatever way you can. Betty is
someone who has spent her whole life giving to others and deserves somewhere of her own at the very least.
