We are creating this GoFundMe as a way to support Betsy Gasperin Aguilera with only 33 years old as she faces the challenges of a recent diagnosis of triple negative breast cancer. She will begin with aggressive treatments, as her diagnosis is developing quickly.

In February 23, 2024, Betsy received the news of Stage 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer. Since then, she's been tirelessly attending doctor's appointments and undergoing tests, and now getting ready for chemotherapy starting in March 2024, followed by surgery. The effectiveness of her treatment will determine the course of her battle.

Here is a snapshot of a few out of pocket expenses:

-Bills, utilities, etc.

-Medical bills including, chemo treatments, radiation, mastectomy, breast reconstruction

-Leave time for her mother and or care takers

-Travel fare for mother to visit during treatment

-Wigs and hair replacement options

-Specialty medications insurance cannot cover

-Mental health care costs

-Unpaid time off from work

-Deductibles to meet before insurance covers costs

-Fees for specialty medical doctors (oncologist, surgeons, etc)

-Transportation (gas and parking)

-Potential fertility post treatments
