Beto the Clown has been diagnosed with stage 4 throat cancer.
In early February 2019 Beto noticed a lump on his throat and went to the doctors to get it checked out. A biopsy was completed and it was determined that Beto needed surgery to remove the lump because it was cancerous. After surgery Beto was informed that he would need chemotherapy. His first dosage of chemo was on Friday, March 15th and he will continue to have several more to fight this terrible disease.
Beto is a special person, really one of a kind, you will never meet anyone like him! He is funny, giving, caring, thoughtful, and extremely hard-working. Beto never misses a day of work, unless due to extreme weather conditions. He has been working for West Coast Dental for over 15 years and even with his current health situation he refuses to miss a day of work. Beto is a staple of West Coast Dental- he is family.
Beto enjoys dressing up as fun characters to attract the attention of children and put smiles on everyone's faces. For Easter is dresses up as a Rabbit, For the Holiday Season he has an amazing Santa Claus costume. His usual costumes are: Woody from Toy Story, Elmo, Dora the Explorer, Scooby Doo, and so many more. His goal is to put smiles on children's faces and help them get the dental care they need. He really cares about the community and now it's time we show him how much we care about him.
Join me in helping Beto in any way you can to fight cancer and get our funny, happy, clown back to good health! Any proceeds will be going to Beto's medical care, medicine, travel expenses, and bills.
