F Cancer — Help Beto Fight Prostate Cancer
If you’ve ever met Roberto “Beto” Gonzalez, you know exactly the kind of man he is. He’s a proud husband, a loving father, a fun-loving grandfather, and at the bowling alley—he’s one hell of a bowler. Beto has always been the guy cheering others on, cracking jokes, and showing up when people needed him most.
Now, he’s the one who needs us.
Last year, Beto was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Since that moment, life has changed dramatically for him and his family. Doctor visits, procedures, and difficult news have become part of their everyday reality. But if you know Beto, you know he’s not the kind of man who gives up. He’s stepping into this fight with strength, determination, and one clear message:
F Cancer.
The road ahead will not be easy. Beto is preparing to begin radiation treatments very soon—five days a week. These treatments are physically exhausting and will take a serious toll on his strength, his energy, and his overall health. On top of that, he will need to travel frequently to San Antonio for care, adding long drives, lodging, and meal expenses to an already overwhelming situation.
Financially, the burden is enormous. Although he currently has Medicaid, many critical costs are not fully covered. Co-pays, medications, deductibles, and travel expenses are all coming out of pocket. Because of his condition, Beto is no longer able to work, making it even harder to keep up with the growing bills.
Recently, doctors also discovered a mass on his kidney that had to be surgically removed. He was required to stay in San Antonio for two days for the procedure, and the costs were very expensive. This unexpected surgery is a reminder that more medical problems could arise at any time, bringing even more financial strain and uncertainty for him and his family.
Some of his treatments have already been delayed because he couldn’t afford certain deductibles—something no one fighting cancer should ever have to face.
This is where we come in.
We are asking for your help to lift some of this weight off Beto and his family. Every donation—big or small—will go toward medical bills, radiation treatments, travel costs, and everyday living expenses so he can focus on what truly matters: beating cancer and spending more time with the people he loves.
If you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser is just as powerful. The more people who see Beto’s story, the more support he can receive.
Let’s rally around a great man, a great bowler, and an even better grandfather, husband, and father.
Let’s stand with Beto and say it together:
F Cancer.
