Help Beti Reunite with her biological Family

Hello everyone,

My name is Beti Eugenis, and I want to share a story close to my heart. I was adopted from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, at the age of five. For many years, I believed that my family was no longer alive—a belief I later discovered was untrue. My family never stopped searching for me, holding onto hope despite the years and distance.

Two years ago, after decades apart, we reunited for the first time since my adoption. That visit was profoundly life-changing, filled with emotions, love, and healing. But it was far too short.

Now, as I am preparing for my second trip back to Ethiopia, and this visit holds even deeper meaning. I’ll be spending quality time with my parents and siblings, rebuilding our bond, and reconnecting with the culture and language I lost. I plan to stay for three to four months, immersing myself in their lives, traditions, and love. This trip is about creating the memories we never got the chance to share and fully embracing my roots.

To make this journey possible, I humbly ask for your support to help cover the following expenses:

• Interpreter support to bridge the language gap as I continue learning Amharic
