My name is Bethany, and I am a year into my recovery journey. I am almost finished with my peer support specialist training, and I currently work full time at McDonald's. Soon, I will be working professionally in courts, clinics, and the community, using my experience to help others who are facing similar challenges.

One of the biggest obstacles I face right now is my dental health. I have been approved for financing to get dentures, but I need help with the down payment. Because of my current tooth and gum decay, I can't eat healthy foods, and I don't even own a mirror in my home—I love myself, but I struggle when I see my reflection. Having dentures will not only allow me to eat better, but it will also give me the confidence I need to advocate for my peers and serve my community with pride.
