My name is Bethany. I am transitioning to healthcare and will be shortly working as a phlebotomist. I have a few weeks to finish my clinical rotations and take the state test to be certified and licensed.
In the meantime, I (still) need housing for two months.
So, I need to be working for a few months before I would be considered for/be able to apply to better housing options.
I'm looking at places that cost around $1500 a month and are very small. Most of my things would remain in storage.
I need a month and a half, plus the deposit and whatever fees.
I should be employed by November. (Originally thought to be October, but State license processing time may be 4-6 weeks.) I will, of course, continue to look for work that does not require the license.
Afterward gaining certification and my state license, I should be able sustain myself on my own income. I'll live in this smaller place for a few months to save up money.
Thank you so much for enabling me to learn something new and begin a new career.
Details of how funds will be used:
Sept. Rent: $1550. (No additional pet fees)
Security Deposit: $1550.
Oct. Rent: $1550
Moving expenses: $500
Gas - commuting to/from Glendale to West LA.
Gofundme fees: The transaction fee (2.9%+$0.30 USD per donation) covers the cost of credit and debit charges, safely delivering donations, and helps us offer new ways to donate.
Again, thank you for your help. Once I'm settled I will begin knitting holiday ornaments or something as a thank you. I couldn't have done all of this without you.
