My name is Danielle, and I am Bethany’s lifelong friend. I have set up this fundraiser to support Bethany and her family during an incredibly difficult and heartbreaking time.

Bethany has recently been diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer. She was initially told that her cancer was treatable and that she would come through the other side.

Unfortunately, Bethany’s cancer has now spread to the lining around her brain and spinal cord (LMD), and devastatingly, she has been given just weeks to months to live.

The hospital has now stopped all treatment, but we are determined not to give up. We are desperately looking into other treatment options that may still be available to Bethany privately. These treatments could come at a huge financial cost, including consultations, specialist opinions, investigations and any private treatment that may offer Bethany more time.

The funds raised will be used specifically to support Bethany and her care. Our priority is to use the money to explore and access any suitable private treatment options that may be available to her. This could include private consultations, specialist treatment, medication, investigations, travel and other costs directly associated with pursuing treatment.

Theresa Price (Bethany's Nanna) is the named beneficiary and will ensure that the funds are used for Bethany’s benefit and in accordance with the purpose of this fundraiser.

If, despite our efforts, there is no suitable treatment available privately, the funds will instead be used to support Bethany and her family during the final moments of her life. This will include helping with her care and comfort, as well as contributing towards funeral and associated costs.

Bethany has everything to live for. She has a beautiful two-year-old little girl who needs her mum, and Bethany is not going down without a fight. ❤️
