Help Bethany and family during cancer treatment

Have you ever met a modern day Job? I have actually encountered two in my life so far, and one of them I am lucky enough to call a best friend. Bethany has endured so much in her 30+ years of life and still have the strongest and most inspirational faith I have had the pleasure of experiencing. From domestic abuse, to loss of a child at birth, to being pronounced dead a couple times, to losing family members when we humans thought was too soon.

As any normal human, in these experiences her faith has wavered a little with grief and anger, but she never lost it, and took those situations in life as opportunities to lean on God with all her might.

Now, my beautiful friend has been diagnosed with cervical cancer and needs to go through treatments to help her get rid of the cancer. There is small bump in her road to recovery during these treatments because she is a stay-at-home mom, with her husband still needing to go to work, and she has 2 sweet girls under the age of 3 that stay at home with her. Her husband is a supervisor at his job and is depended on a lot both with responsibility and hours to work, which makes it more difficult for him to take on the extra tasks she did while staying at home.

Their family asks and appreciates any help that can come their way. The big things at the moment are help with the girls from 4-7 pm (you can message me if you interested in helping), but most of all food/meals, as she will be too tired to do the basic tasks she used to do as a stay-at-home mom like cooking/making meals for her family.

We have had so many conversations about her different experiences and situations in her life and especially this one. And her faith and dependence on God are unwavering and so inspirational to me. I couldn’t imagine going through half the stuff she has gone through and still coming out with a strong faith.
