Help Beth Warner's Family Through Crisis
Donation protected
Family & Friends,
I have created this GoFundMe as a way to provide support for my aunt, Beth Warner, and her family as they battle through an extremely difficult time.
For those who are unfamiliar with the situation, Beth was recently diagnosed with end-stage liver failure and acute kidney disease. For the past two weeks, she has been fighting for her life at Baptist and now UofL Hospital. As of now, the goal is to get Beth stable as her liver and kidney numbers are not good at all.
Ultimately, we are not sure what the future holds exactly, but with this time comes many challenges not only for Beth but her family as well.
As of now, her husband, Jack, is taking off work to be at her bedside, and her daughter, Alex, is assisting with many of the tasks that come along with this type of care, including ensuring the care of Beth and Jack’s dependent grandchildren, their home, pets, paperwork/care planning—all while balancing her own responsibilities with a full-time job.
As one could imagine, balancing all of this is not an easy task, and as the saying goes, “it takes a village.” Many have asked how they can be of assistance, and thus comes the creation of this fund to assist with lifting some of this burden from their shoulders during this difficult time.
Any donated funds will go towards:
* Medical & potential end-of-life care costs
* Housing & living expenses for Beth’s family
* Any expenses related to the care of Beth’s responsibilities
Beth has spent her life dedicated to the care of her husband, children, and grandchildren, her career as an educator, and her work at church. Right now, she and her family need us. If you are able to donate anything at all, I know that the family would be very grateful for even the smallest contribution. If you are unable to donate, we still ask for continued prayers and positivity for healing!
Furthermore, this platform will take shape as a place in which we can provide updates for everyone throughout the coming days/weeks/months. Alex has voiced that she has received many texts and calls and is grateful for each and every one of them, but it becomes overwhelming trying to ensure each loved one is kept in the loop. This will serve as a way in which I can provide updates on her behalf in a mass format.
Thank you.
