On Wednesday, February 18, our friend, coworker, and fellow IATSE / USA 829 union member Beth Solin will undergo cervical spinal fusion surgery. This procedure is necessary to relieve severe pain and prevent further damage and disability. It’s a serious operation, and Beth will be unable to work while she focuses on healing and recovery. Like so many in our industry, when we can’t work, we don’t get paid, so this means a sudden loss of income on top of mounting medical expenses.
Beth is a single mom raising two boys, and she’s always been there for her friends and colleagues. Now, she needs our support. At the same time, her beloved dog, Buffo, has been experiencing seizures and requires ongoing vet care. Anyone who knows Beth knows how much Buffo means to her and her boys. The financial strain of medical bills, lost wages, and vet expenses is overwhelming, and we want to help ease that burden so Beth can concentrate on recovery.
We’re coming together as friends and union family to support Beth during this challenging time. If you’re able to give, any amount helps. If you can’t donate, sharing this page would mean so much.
