On November 13, 2025, I experienced a life-changing accident at home and broke my hip. I was rushed to Lake Regional Hospital, where doctors attempted surgery, but unfortunately, it was not successful. After the initial procedure, I faced serious complications and heard the words 'bleeding out' while waiting for transport. With the help of a nurse and security guards, I was airlifted by helicopter to the University of Missouri in Columbia. There, I spent several days receiving care to rebuild my blood levels and finally underwent the surgery I needed.
After my hospital stay, I was transferred to The Life Care Center of Waynesville to begin therapy and start my journey toward recovery. However, I recently learned that my insurance will no longer cover my therapy, and the rehab center is asking for payment upfront for room and therapy. This is an impossible amount for me to pay on my own, especially while I am still healing and unable to work.
I am reaching out for help to cover my rehab center bills, therapy, and any insurance bills that need to be paid. Your support will allow me to continue my recovery and focus on healing, rather than worrying about these overwhelming expenses. Any help you can give—whether through a donation or by sharing my story—means the world to me. Thank you for your kindness and support.
