Our sweet sweet Bethy recently found out the breast cancer she beat two and a half years ago has reared its ugly head again. (Details from her below).
She has plenty of things on her list of to do's; doctor's appointments, tests, staying strong and positive, etc. etc. and worrying about money shouldn't be one of them.
Even though she doesn't love us making a fuss over her, lets all show her she is more than worth it by supporting her journey of recovery. Here's to Beth, her health and her happiness.
From Beth:
My breast cancer is back, in my bones and pretty much everywhere. Multiple spots in my hips, in almost every vertebrae, in my skull, ribs... if I was better at anatomy I could go on. There is no cure. What treatment looks like at the moment is a pill that is going to make me post menopausal and a hormone blocker to help suppress estrogen which my cancer feeds off of. I’ve already been on a hormone blocker for a few years so I’m not a stranger to this. They are trying to figure out a good pain management for me. My body doesn’t agree with narcotics and I’ve been getting sick for days from them. I’m skinny now I’ve vomited so much and have not a lot of an appetite. I’m working hard on it though! It’s still really surreal and overwhelming. If you have my number feel free to reach out but I might not reply right away. I didn’t get a time stamp they did tell me a rough guesstimate but I would like to keep that private for the most part. I’ll post it again when I beat it
