It is with a mix of sadness and an abundance of hope that this message reaches you. Our dear Beth Grieser is in the fight of her life battling Stage 2 Ovarian cancer. To know Beth or even to just have met her; is to know you are in the presence of love, light, and all that is good in this world. She is a mother, a giver, a teacher, a sister, a friend, an angel among us and she is in need of our financial support.
Beth was diagnosed with Stage 2 Ovarian cancer in April, 2020. In its current stage, the cancer has been found in one ovary and has spread to other parts of her pelvis. Based on statistics from the American Cancer Society almost half (46.2%) of women with ovarian cancer are alive at least five years after diagnosis with treatment. This is where your financial help is much needed as treatment is expensive and time intensive.
Beth has been a child care provider and teacher all of her adult life. It goes without saying, that compensation in this field is minimal. She has given so much of herself to our children, our families and to her community without ever asking for much in return. Due to the time intensive commitment to her on-going cancer treatment, on top of being a miraculous mother to her 3 year old son Edan, she will be unable to return to teaching (with medical benefits) for the unforeseeable future.
Funds raised here will help to pay for her medical treatment, provide shelter for her and Edan, and fill her fridge with healthy fruits, vegetables, and natural health supplements crucial for her battle with cancer.
