Let's raise funds to help Beth G. recover from a terrible flood in her home! My name is Kate, and Beth is a beloved friend, colleague, and inspiration. I was devastated to hear of this major crisis, and want to do whatever I can to help her out in this time of need. I know that Beth and her daughter Fiona will be so thankful for any help you can provide.

On Friday, 9/26/25, the water main burst just inches from her home, and flooded the entire downstairs: 2 bedrooms, 3 closets, and Beth's home office and library. Many items were destroyed. Everything had to be moved out, the drywall cut out, insulation removed, and other extensive mitigation work. Then it will need to be repaired, repainted, and moved back in.

Because the water main was outside the home, insurance does not cover any of this loss. Repair costs could run as high as $50k for the entire process, not to mention the mental and emotional distress and disruption, and the ruin of many personal belongings.

Beth gives so much to her community, especially to the environmental and art worlds. Her generosity is abundant, and her heart is so big and loving. This is our chance to give back to Beth and Fiona, and to help them through this awful crisis.
