With a heavy heart, I am reaching out to this community for donations to help pay for the aftermath of James Goin's untimely passing. This is what went on the day that he had the car accident due to a massive stroke: On his way to work, he backed over the water line and broke it at our house. Then he went to work; while driving his client, he backed into a truck. Then, while driving home, he wrecked into a mobile home in our park, damaging the whole front yard of the cement block border around the front patio. They then called the sheriff's office, and James was issued a citation for going 30 miles an hour in a 10 mile an hour zone inside our park. The manager stated she thought James was drunk, so she then drove James to our house and dropped him off. The tow truck driver from Frank's Towing towed the car less than 1/8 of a mile to our house, only 4 or 5 trailers down from where the wreck happened, charging $388 for that short distance. The manager at the park called and had a plumber come out and fix the broken water line, another charge of $288. And today, the park manager hired 2 guys to repair the block border, another $850. If all of this isn't bad enough, the tow truck driver from Frank's Towing returned to James' home the next morning to be paid for services rendered, where he says he found James on the floor under the table in his room but thought he was sleeping. He did not render help and left him there dying. When I returned home at 4:00 that day, I found James on the floor in his room exactly where the tow truck driver stated that he had left James earlier that same day. When I spoke with the manager at my park, she stated she thought he was drunk. I told her James has not drunk for many years; he's in recovery, and I know he was not drinking. He was probably having a stroke. She then stated that she had given him a ride home and dropped him off. Between these three people, not one of them thought to call 911? When I was told by the doctor that he had been having a stroke for quite some time, there were lots of spots in the brain that were recent. Furthermore, if they thought he was drunk, why didn't the sheriff take him to jail? Why would he just write him a ticket for going 30 mph in a 10 mph speed limit in a private park, which is private property, I might add? These are questions I will probably never get the answer to. The day after James passed away, I got a call from the sheriff that wrote him the ticket, telling me that he was just going to drop the whole thing and not turn in the ticket, so for me not to worry about paying it. I was beside myself, to say the least. This has all been so overwhelming and financially burdening beyond comprehension. James was life-flighted to Chandler Regional Medical Center ICU unit with severe trauma to the brain due to a massive stroke, causing swelling of the brain and lack of oxygen due to a blockage in his brain. At this time, he was then put on life support until I could get his sons, Caleb and Nathan, to his bedside to say goodbye to their dad, and numerous phone calls from family members that were not able to come. When the doctor told me that there was no chance of James surviving with any quality of life, as the whole left brain was no longer working due to the stroke, and that he would never walk again, he would never use the whole right side of his body, he could not speak or swallow or communicate with any quality of life. I decided to honor James's wishes to not be kept on life support; he did not want to live like that. So at this time, I asked the doctors to stop life support and allow him to have comfort care and pass peacefully with me by his side and Caleb telephonically there. So at 10:45 p.m. Sunday, Feb 1st, 2026, he grew his wings. Every life he touched was blessed. If anyone cares to donate to help with this aftermath and overwhelming financial burden, please donate through his gofundme.
May you R.I.P. James...
Thank you and God bless...
Sincerely,
Beth Fox
