Beth S Carroll has been the rock of our family for decades. As a kindergarten teacher’s assistant at Georgetown Primary for nearly 30 years, she touched the lives of countless children and families. After losing her husband 44 years ago, she raised her two children on her own, always putting her family first. Her four remaining siblings, two children, and three grandchildren all depend on her strength and love.
Recently, Beth’s health has taken a difficult turn. It began with a UTI, then a fall, followed by sepsis and heart failure. Now, she is on dialysis for kidney failure. These challenges have made it impossible for her to live alone safely, and she needs to move in with me so I can care for her every day.
To make our home safe and accessible for Beth, we need to turn our downstairs front room into a bedroom with ADA doors, install a chairlift to reach the upstairs bathroom, and renovate both the upstairs shower and downstairs half bath to be wheelchair accessible. These changes are essential for her comfort, safety, and dignity in her remaining years.
Anything you can donate will go a long way to making her last years easier, more comfortable, and happy. Your support means the world to our family, and we are deeply grateful for any help you can give.
