Dear Friends,
I'm hoping you'll consider donating to a fund we’ve established for Beth Miller. Here’s the situation:
Beth recently moved to Michigan to take advantage of working remotely to be closer to family. The day before she moved, her movers backed out of helping her pack, leaving her to pack all her belongings late into the night. When she went to leave the next morning at 4 AM, she walked up to her car as it was being robbed. Thieves stole everything she owned minus a bag of sweaters in her trunk, including all her cameras, all her clothes, shoes and purses, leaving her out of over $6,000 of personal belongings. She then drove 1,255 miles across the country to Michigan with no window in her car.
The days that followed have been rough for Beth, and a few of us who work closely with her thought one way we could support her would be to start this GoFundMe page. We know we can’t make up for the sentimental value and feelings of being violated, but we thought this gesture would be appreciated and help her with some of the financial burden of having to re-buy her stolen items.
I know she’d appreciate it if you would consider chipping in, no matter the amount.
