For over 23 years, my mom’s clothing store has been more than just a business—it’s been a gathering place, a source of style and inspiration, and a lifeline for our Pasadena, CA community. Whether through her warm smile or her unwavering support, my mom has always been there for others. But now, she, and our entire family, need your help.
The recent LA fires brought unimaginable loss to Bessy’s Boutique. Smoke damage has destroyed the store’s entire inventory, leaving our family without a source of income. Our home in Altadena, CA has also been affected tremendously by the fires. We were displaced on 1/7/25 and have been unable to return to our home since.
As a family of six, we’ve always been close-knit, united by love and a deep commitment to helping others. From volunteering at local events to supporting neighbors in need, the Centeno family has always been proud to serve our community. Today, we humbly ask for your help to rebuild what we’ve lost.
Your generosity will help us:
• Replace the inventory lost in the fire and get the store back up and running.
• Cover temporary housing and essential living expenses while we recover.
• Provide some stability and hope as we begin to rebuild both our business and our home.
Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to restoring our lives. If you can’t donate, even just simply sharing our story with others would mean the world to us.
From the bottom of our hearts we thank you for being part of our journey to rebuild. Your kindness and support reminds us that even in the darkest times, we are never alone.
With gratitude and love,
The Centeno Family
