My name is Bessie Scott, and I never imagined I would be here asking for help.

Since 2023, I’ve been battling a rare condition called leiomyomatosis peritonealis disseminata. This illness has caused a large pelvic mass, leading to painful bowel obstructions and multiple surgeries. Things have only gotten worse since my most recent surgery, a loop transverse colostomy.

Before my health declined, I lived a life of purpose. I flipped homes, ran a group home, and poured my energy into helping others. But as my condition worsened, I had to close my group home and rely on Social Security as my only source of income. Between monthly bills and ongoing medical expenses, I’m barely keeping my head above water.

I am asking for $5,000 to help me move into a more affordable home, cover credit card debt from medical costs, and simply stay afloat while I focus on healing.

It’s not easy for me to ask, but I truly need the support. Any amount you can give will make a difference in my life and give me a little peace during this difficult season.
