Our dear neighbor, Bertrand Mitchell, has recently experienced a heartbreaking loss — a fire destroyed his home along with all of his everyday necessities. In an instant, he lost not only his place of comfort and safety, but also the personal belongings and essentials many of us rely on daily.

Bertrand is a kind, humble man who has always shown warmth and care to those around him whether it’s detailing and fixing cars, or even just sharing nice conversations. As he prepares to celebrate his 70th birthday in just 6 days, he is now facing the unimaginable challenge of starting over from scratch.

We are asking for support from friends, family, neighbors, and anyone willing to help lighten this burden during such a difficult time. Donations will go toward replacing basic necessities such as clothing, toiletries, food, household items and temporary housing expenses.
